After School Program (Beyond the Bell)
The LAUSD Youth Services After School Playground offers supervised recreational and educational activities for students on all school days. Students ages 7 and above (grades 2 through 5 only) are welcome to participate at no charge. Supervision will be available until 6:00 pm each day after school. Please make sure you arrange to have your child(ren) picked up by that time each day.
In order for your child to participate, you must fill out and return a copy of the Parent/Guardian Agreement for Participation in the Youth Services After-School Program. Please return it to the Youth Services coach.
When Professional Development Days begin in September, supervision will be provided from 1:40 pm until 6:00 pm. On Minimum Days, supervision will be provided from 12:39 pm until 6:00 pm.
Children younger than 2nd grade are not permitted to play on the yard after school, even with an older sibling. For parents who require after school supervision for younger students, feel free to inquire with the Justice Street School YMCA program.
